Thanks for visiting my website! I am a wedding and portrait photographer based in Rochester, NY.

My interest in photography started as a kid when I first saw faces emerge on photo paper in my Dad's dark room. I've always loved photographing people. I am passionate about capturing life's precious moments and creating art with my camera.

I also love to dance and design. I teach ballroom dancing and design my own costumes. You could probably guess that my favorite reality TV shows are "So you think you can Dance", "America's next top model" and "Project runway" :)

Dance as an artform is a great inspiration source for my photography. As a dancer I am constantly observing the nuances in shapes and lines of the human form; as a photographer I am constantly trying to incorporate movement and emotions into my images to give them more life.

Just as this stone seal that's hand-engraved by my father, the love for photography and art is also a family heritage that I cherish dearly.

My Dad is an avid photographer himself. Some of his best work has even been collected in the Chinese National Archive. He taught me the ABCs of photography and I started my adventures in picture-taking since the era of film cameras.

The ability to perpetuate the fleeting moments of beauty and emotions with a camera has never ceased to excite me ever since.
